I'm an awful blogger!
I really am an awful blogger. I post like 3 or 4 posts at a time, and then forget about my blog for months. I have great intentions, but I guess it's just not a priority to me. That's why I don't scrapbook!!!!!! So many things have happened in the last 2 months that I haven't blogged about. My goal is to be better at paying attention to my blog.

Our Trip to Cabo
Eddie and I got to spend a week in Cabo, Mexico compliments of his company, Cash America. Eddie's Market had the highest Net Revenue over prior year in the entire company. So his company gave us a trip for 2 to Cabo as a reward with other winners in the company. We stayed at an all inclusive resort called Dreams Resort. It was really a great trip for Eddie and I. We spent lots of overdue time together relaxing and having fun.
Some highlights were when we got massages, learned how to tango, Eddie went ATVing, I got a pedicure, and we met lots of nice people from Cash America. We visited San Jose one day where we ate at a whole in the wall for some authentic mexican food and got the girls gifts from the tourist shops. We spent another day visiting Cabo San Lucas where we found a shop full of real fun sculptures which they wanted lots of money for. I had a problem with my ankles and feet swelling so we couldn't spend more than a few hours site seeing. Weather was beautiful while we were there. High's were in the low 80's. Perfect really!
One of the nights we were invited to attend a dinner for just Market Managers, only 7 out of 160 made it, at Pitahayas. We saw whales jumping out in the water while we ate. Throughout dinner we weren't sure if the menu prices were in USD or Pesos, so I took pictures of the menus. It was exciting thinking the prices were USD until we were told the prices were in Pesos. The conversion rate is 12 pesos to 1 usd.
Eddie also had one of his store managers, Jose, win a trip too so he is in some of the pictures.
I put together a slide show of pictures from the trip!

Coloring Easter Eggs!
The girls colored easter eggs on Friday. They each had a dozen eggs to color. I always wished I had that many to color as a kid. Leora was done pretty quickly, she even forgot 2 eggs in their glasses of dye. While Emma took her own sweet time drawing on them before coloring them and adding stickers. Here are some pics. They had their grandparents there to enjoy the coloring.

Roller Skates!
Someone from my work gave me a pair of kids roller skates that didn't fit his granddaughter. They were real close to Emma's size so I gave them to her. She kept falling down on her skinny, boney butt so Eddie dug thru his hockey gear and found some pads for her to wear. He used an elbow pad to wrap around her butt. It was hilarious! But it worked!

The Name Search is On!
The name search has begun for our new expectant little girl. We've come up with a few names we like. They are:
Evelyn - means Beautiful Bird
Kaelyn - means Pure
Celia - means Heaven
Kyah or Kaia - means to Rejoice
Evie - would probably be short for Evelyn
I placed a poll on the side of my blog so you can tell me what is your favorite!

Our day at the hospital
We had 3 doctor appointment today all around Tacoma General Hospital. The day started early since Leora had to been there at 7:45am for a VCUG test. She needed to be tested for Renal Reflux and needless to say the exam/test is not a pleasant test. I was internally a wreck worried how she would handle the test. To be brief in explanation they put a catheter in, fill up her bladder with fluid, and take lots of x-ray pictures. Needless to say, Leora did fabulous during the test with help from Eddie(greatest Dad ever). She was so brave! Since I'm pregnant I couldn't be with her during the test and Eddie stayed with her the entire time. I was grateful my husband is such a wonderful Dad. Seeing how he comforted her and was silly to help lighten her mood reminded me why I love him so much.
While Leora and Eddie were doing their thing, Emma and I waited in the hallway. This is where we met a 2 month old baby named Joshua. He was being taken to Imaging for a Bone scan in a big red play wagon. Joshua has been in the hospital for almost 3 weeks, and has 2 broken arms, a fractured skull, broken ribs, and a broken leg. He is on police hold so his parents cannot remove him from the hospital, since they are the cause for him to be there. It was so sad to hear his story and see someone so small and helpless be a victim of such violence. He was so calm and quiet it broke my heart, but his spirit touched me as well. Emma was touched as well. She immediately started drawing a picture of him in his wagon at the hospital. When she was done she wrote his name on the picture and From: Emma Toy. She wanted to give the picture to him. We went back to the floor we had seen him on and asked the nurse if she could find him to give him the picture. She gladly said she would deliver the picture to him for Emma. Emma's picture brought smiles to all the nurses faces there in the ER that Emma would show her love for little Joshua by drawing him that picture.
We went to my ultrasound next to check the health of our new baby. I'm now 20 weeks so we were looking forward to finding out if it is a boy or girl. Leora asked to sit with me. During the ultrasound Leora stood on a chair by my head, rubbing my head and making sure I was okay during the "test". We found out we are having another GIRL!!!!! While there was some disappointment that it's not a boy, we are glad to say the baby looks very healthy. I had a Dr appointment after that with my OBGYN. Eddie and the girls played soccer on the lawn outside the office while I met with my Dr.
This day has reminded of how lucky I am for my family. I feel so blessed to have wonderful, caring daughters and a husband that loves his "girls" the way he does. I am very blessed

Ears Pierced!
The girls got their ears pierced after Christmas. Emma has been told she could get them pierced for a couple years now, but has chickened out each time. I was sure Leora was going to chicken out, and she almost did at the very last moment. After the first ear she wanted to stop, and right after she said she wanted to give the earrings back. :) Emma was very excited when it was done. About 10 minutes later Leora was in love with her new earrings and admired them in every mirror she could find at the mall.
