Emma started school today! She was very excited to be going back to school. She's a 1st grader! Her teachers name is Ms. Conti. We all know Emma is not a morning person and getting her out of bed to get off to school is not always the easiest. This morning she was excited to get out of bed and get dressed in the clothes she had picked out last night. She wasn't as excited to brush her teeth and get her hair done. Emma had a stomach ache this morning when it was time to have breakfast, so she didn't feel like eating. She was either too excited for school or a little bit nervous. Nevertheless, Emma went off to her first day of school without breakfast!Wednesday, September 3, 2008
And She's Off Again!

Oh, happy first day of school Emma! Her and Mason will have to swap first grade stories now. And her first day outfit is very cute.
I have thought almost every day since you all were here in July....about Emma's going back to school first day. I have hoped with each thought that her day would be perfect in her own eyes. And i have felt VERY sad that i can still NOT find that very cute hello kitty backpack. If i only had a brain - i wouldn't know how to use it!!! But, hopefully Emma knows her Ging-ging loves her very much and thinks of her at least once daily!!
